Comedy is coming to the STELLARS!
Comedians Rickey Smiley and Loni Love will co-host the 39th Annual Stellar Gospel Music Awards in Vegas on July 20th.
This year marks the first time in a while that gospel musicians will not serve as hosts. Jonathan McReynolds and Tasha Cobbs were hosts last year; Jekalyn Carr and Kierra Sheard-Kelly were hosts in 2022.
Rickey Smiley is the current host of the hugely popular syndicated radio talk show, "The Rickey Smiley Morning Show." He known for his blend of comedy and church humor.
Stand-up comedian, Loni Love, is best known as one of the hosts of the Emmy-winning talk show, "The Real." She is also host of the quarterly docuseries celebrating African American female mentors, "Mentoring Queens," which airs on Stellar TV.
This year's Stellars should be a good blend of laughs and gospel music.
