Bishop Marvin Sapp announced as a featured musician for NPR’s Tiny Desk Concerts for Black History Month

Gospel is coming National Public Radio (NPR)!


Bishop Marvin Sapp has been selected as one of the featured musicians for NPR's Tiny Desk Concerts for the month of February.


Tiny Desk Concerts is a video series of live concerts hosted by NPR Music.


Other gospel artists who have been featured on the Tiny Desk concerts include Kierra Sheard and Tasha Cobbs Leonard.


In addition to Bishop Sapp, other artists featured during February 2025 will include Leon Thomas, Yasmin Williams, and Braxton Cook, to name a few.


Marvin Sapp is an 11-time Grammy nominated artist who first burst onto the national stage as a member of the gospel group, Commissioned.


Some of his greatest hits as a solo artist include, "Never Would Have Made It, " The Best In Me," and "Praise Him in Advance."
