Dante Hall, Grammy-nominated gospel singer, passes away unexpectedly

Gospel singer Dante Hall has passed away unexpectedly.


Gospel Artist Entertainment Official released the following statement: “We are saddened to hear that #DanteHall, gospel singer & background vocalist has passed away. Dante was known for his remarkable voice, as well has one of the main tenors for Donald Lawrence & CO. Please keep the family of Dante in your prayers!”


Dante was well respected in the gospel community. He performed with notable Christian artists like Bebe and Cece Winans, Yolanda Adams, Michael McDonald, Dave Hollister, and Donald Lawrence among others.


Dante was also an independent artist. You can hear some of his music here.


In addition to being a vocalist, Dante was also an entrepreneur. He was the owner of the Bellwood bar and restaurant, Donnie's Place, which was known for using some his family's old recipes.


There has been definitively announcement on Dante's cause of death.

Funeral services have been scheduled for July 13th at Living Word Christian Center in Forest Park, IL.
