Several media outlets are reporting that Le'Andria Johnson was arrested for a second time for public intoxication.
According to the NC Beat, Le'Andria Johnson was booked for public drunkenness in Arlington County, Virgina on February 21, 2025.
She was arrested a day after performing at the United Communities Against Poverty (UCAP) 60th Anniversary celebration in Maryland.
In December 2024, Le'Andria was arrested in Greenville, SC for the same offense and held in a detention center, as reported by WYFF news in Greenville.
After the incident in South Carolina, her team announced that she was entering a rehabilitation facility to "heal past wounds."
Johnson has been open about her struggles with alcoholism. She appeared on an episode of "Iyanla Fix My Life" and acknowledged to Iyanla Vanzant that she has a drinking problem.
Many in the faith-based community have been trying to reconcile Johnson's vocal talent and her singing of Christian music with her over-indulgence in alcohol.
One social media commenter wrote, "Clearly there is something wrong in her life. This a batt;e that she and only she has to go thru with a support system. She has the anointing touch and calling. Her battle isn't over yet."
