We have a "gut" feeling that Kierra Sheard-Kelly was surprised by fans initial reaction to a recent social media post of hers.

In the post, Kierra shared a cute photo of herself with her husband and daughter at Disney.

While the picture seemed benign enough, the caption caught a few fans off guard.

In the caption, Kierra stated, "The joys of being a wife and mother, the whole household has been in my guts! Hooraaaay!"

Many fans took the phrase "been in my guts" to mean something naughty, a reference of intimacy between she and her husband Jordan Kelly.

But after a couple of days, Kierra stormed back, re-defining the word "guts.

She created the acronym for “guts” to mean “God’s Up to Something” to re-contextualize the meaning of the word "guts."

Kierra even released a new clothing line and song to accompany the acronym G.U.T.S.

In her song, Kierra sings:

"I be running my mouth because I know whose I am. Try to keep up if you don’t understand. I don’t answer to nothing that don’t come from my Father. It’s never good enough for them, then why should I bother. All it’s going to do is lead me to acting up. I don’t want to fight you because I’m covered by the blood. I know He’s guiding me. Redirect my energy. So, if I fall or if my back’s against the wall, as long as I know God’s always up to something. Don’t understand what it does, but I know it’s something.”

I guess the joke is on fans because Kierra is a Marketing GENIUS! She quickly capitalized on a potential controversy and redefined it in her favor.

And yep, that took creativity, quick thinking, and... guts!
