LaTocha Scott of Xscape has inked an exclusive license agreement with Motown Gospel through her label, Made Girl Music.
In a press release, LaTocha stated, “It has always been a passion of mine to do inspirational music. It has been my foundation, and that is very evident, even when I sing R&B music. I can’t escape that.”
LaTocha has been a member of the multi-platinum group Xscape since its inception in the early 1990s.
In 2012, she released a single entitled "Bad Timing" from her studio album.
LaTocha and group members Kandi Burris, Tameka “Tiny” Harris, and sister Tamika Scott received the Lady Of Soul award during the 2022 Soul Train Awards.
LaTocha has a distinctive soprano voice that should lend well to promoting the Kingdom of God through gospel and inspirational music.
