Rev. Dr. Cecilia Williams-Bryant has passed away.
Pastor Jamal Bryant announced the news on social media.
Dr. Cecilia Williams-Bryant was a noted leader in the AME Church, helping to found the A.M.E. Church in the Ivory Coast.
Dr. Cecilia Williams-Bryant was also a well-known author who had a heart for children.
The Celebration of Life Ceremony for Dr. Cecilia Williams-Bryant took place on Saturday October 5th in Baltimore at Bethel AME Church, 1300 Druid Hill Avenue. It can be viewed below.
Please keep her husband, Bishop John Richard Bryant, her son Pastor Jamal Bryant, her daughter Dr. Thema Bryant, and her grandchildren in your prayers.
Dr. Cecilia Williams-Bryant was 77 years old.
