Rickey Smiley is returning to his stand-up comedy roots in a new stand-up comedy special entitled "Fool-ish"!
"Fool-ish" is set to premiere on May 30th, exclusively on Hulu.
Filmed in his hometown of Birmingham, AL, "Fool-ish" is a return to comedy for Smiley.
Formerly the host of BET’s Comic View, as well as the star of reality series Rickey Smiley For Real, Smiley has anchored The Rickey Smiley Morning Show out of Atlanta for 20 years.
Smiley told Deadline magazine, “I’ve been through a lot of transformation and trauma these past few years and I was determined to get through it."
Yes, I think we all could use a laugh these days!
